Google fixes this security vulnerability in Pixel phones with September 2024 update

The vulnerability was discovered last month and is related to an inactive piece of software in Pixel phones which according to the cybersecurity firm iVerify makes them “accessible to hackers and ripe for man-in-the-middle attacks, code injection, and spyware.”
