GNLU report calls for gaming regulations in India, addressing industry risks

In a report evaluating the blanket bans and mandatory limits on the online gaming industry in India, a panel of experts under the aegis of Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has proposed that India set up a national regulator for online gaming and prescribe regulations for the industry “with a focus on user safety and balanced economic growth”.

“This report is the culmination of extensive research and consultations with experts from various fields. We believe that its recommendations will be instrumental in shaping the future of online gaming in India,” said Dr Sanjeevi Shanthakumar, Director at GNLU.
