“Technical glitch” changes Facebook app icon’s Blue colour

Meta-owned Facebook familiar Blue ‘F’ logo turned black yesterday, causing confusion among users. Now, Meta has confirmed that the change was a result of a technical glitch. According to a report by Business Insider, a Meta spokesperson said “This was caused by a technical issue and has been resolved. People will see the fix when they update their app.”
According to reports, both iPhone and Android users were impacted by the glitch although the majority of them were iOS users.
