Accenture appoints Arundhati Chakraborty to CEO of operations

Accenture said Arundhati Chakraborty will assume the role of group chief executive of operations, effective from September 1. Chakraborty, who will remain based in Bengaluru, takes over from Yusuf Tayob, who has been appointed as the chair of the company’s global communications, media, and technology (CMT) industry practices and will be based in the US.
In her new role, Chakraborty is tasked with expanding Accenture’s $10 billion operations business and enhancing innovation for clients by leveraging generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and automation.
