Star India’s merger with RIL’s Viacom18: How Disney’s financials may get a lift

Walt Disney will gain from the proposed merger between Star India and Viacom18, which has been greenlighted by the Competition Commission of India’s (CCI), by way of decoupling the Indian operations that has been a drag on its sports and streaming businesses, say media analysts.
