DoT, MHA, NDMA working on ‘Public Protection and Disaster Relief’ network: Official

NEW DELHI: The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) are working on a Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR) network that will provide dedicated communication channels for emergency services, and help prevent casualties, a telecom department official said on Wednesday.
