Reddit faces outage with community site experiencing widespread error, company says ‘issue resolved’

Social media platform Reddit faced a widespread outage which affected thousands of its users across the globe and users were left with a ‘server error. Try again later’ message for around 45 minutes on Wednesday.
According to The Verge, the status page of the social media site suggested that the website was experiencing a “degraded performance” at 4:16PM ET and it was later acknowledged by the Reddit team around 4:45PM ET and the company said, “A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.”
