Google fixes photo issue in its AI tool Gemini that CEO Sundar Pichai apologised for and said “completely unacceptable”

Alphabet’s Google has announced that it will reinstate its image generation feature for some users, following a suspension earlier this year due to concerns over inaccurate and harmful depictions. In February, Google faced criticism for its AI-powered image generation tool, which produced historically inaccurate and racially insensitive images when prompted to create depictions of people.
