OnePlus users complain of dead motherboards: Here’s what we know so far

Several OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 10 Pro are reportedly facing motherboard issues with their smartphones. The problem came to light after a user who goes by the name OnePlus Club on X (previously Twitter) shared screenshots from the OnePlus Community about users complaining about motherboard failure.

Some said that their device went dead after experiencing heating issues, some said their device suddenly went black or froze after which it did not switch on again. While most of the complaints were about the OnePlus 10 Pro, some said they were facing the same problem on the OnePlus 9, suggesting that the motherboard issue may not be limited to a specific model.
