Apple’s India expansion to create over 600,000 jobs, says report

Apple India: Tech giant Apple’s increasing focus on India, as it diversifies from China, is expected to generate a significant number of jobs in the country. According to a recent report by the Economic Times, Apple’s local ecosystem could lead to the creation of more than 600,000 jobs in India.

The report suggested that by the end of the current financial year, Apple may add approximately 200,000 direct jobs, with women constituting over 70 per cent of this workforce.
