Zomato to announce a dedicated going-out app soon: What we know so far

Zomato recently purchased the events and movie ticketing arm of Paytm. In a letter to the shareholders, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal said that the company will soon bring a dedicated app for going-out. He stated that the acquisition gives an opportunity to “spin-off the
business into a new app (we are going to call it District) which could be a game changer for each of these use cases given the need for a single brand as a destination in this segment”.
