WhatsApp users in India will now get ads from these companies

Meta-owned WhatsApp now allows companies from regulated sectors such as real-money gaming and over-the-counter drugs to send promotional messages to its users in India. The instant messaging platform has updated its WhatsApp Business messaging policy under which real-money gaming and over-the-counter medicines companies can send promotional messages.
