OTT communication should be subjected to Telecom Act, unregulated services pose security threat: COAI

NEW DELHI: Any over-the-top (OTT) platform providing communications services, such as video and voice telephony and messaging, should be subjected to the law of the land as prescribed under the new Telecom Act 2023, the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) said.
