Uncertainty about Ola Uber services in Pune continues; decision deferred for 6th time

The State Appellate Tribunal (SAT) on Thursday postponed the hearing on Ola and Uber operations in Pune on September 12, the sixth adjournment in the case. Both ride-hailing companies have operated in the city without licence for over a decade.

The SAT is hearing the case after the Regional Transport Office (RTO) rejected their licence applications. The SAT initially heard the appeal on April 22, subsequently rescheduling it on June 18, July 8, August 5, and August 22, now pushed to September 12.
