CBI registers case of disproportionate assets against ITS officers

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against an Indian Telecom Service (ITS) Officer and others, on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets.

The accused has been identified as Kunj Bihari Sharma (ITS: Indian Telecom Service: 1999) and others.

It was alleged that the accused (ITS:1999), while working in Rajasthan amassed assets in his name and in the name of his family members (wife), (mother) and HUF company at Jaipur, Ajmer and other different places in Rajasthan.
