Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung, others to launch smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3

NEW DELHI: American chipmaker Qualcomm Tuesday launched its new premium mid-range chipset, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, and said original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Realme, Samsung, Sharp, and Xiaomi are expected to launch smartphones powered by the processor in the coming months.

The octa-core chipset, based on the 64-bit architecture, comprises a Prime core at up to 2.5GHz, three Performance cores at up to 2.4GHz, and four efficiency cores at up to 1.8GHz.
