TRAI directs telcos to migrate 140-series telemarketing calls to DLT platform by Sept 30

NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) Tuesday directed all telecom operators to take measures, including migrating telemarketing calls starting with 140 series to the online digital ledger technology (DLT) platform, to curb the misuse of messaging services and protect mobile users from fraud practices.
