Optiemus forays into telecom gear manufacturing, partners Tejas Networks

NEW DELHI: Optiemus Electronics Tuesday said it has forayed into the telecom equipment manufacturing segment to boost indigenous design and production of such gear in the country, in-line with the Centre’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) vision.

Optiemus is working with the Tata group company, Tejas Networks, as a manufacturing partner for various equipment products such as 4G baseband units (BBUs)/Remote Radio Head (RRH), optical network terminal/optical network unit (ONT/ONU), broadband switches and routers, which will be rolled out from its Noida facility.
