Google Maps on WearOS now supports offline navigation

At the recently concluded Made by Google event, the tech giant unveiled several new devices including the Pixel Watch 3 and announced that Google Maps on WearOS will soon allow users to download maps for offline use.

According to a new report by 9to5Google, it looks like Google has started rolling out the update. After updating Google Maps for WearOS to the latest version, you will see a new banner that says “Offline maps on the phone are auto-downloaded to the watch.” The app will also show a new “Offline maps” page located just above the “Settings option.
