Windows AI-capable PC shipments grow 127% but Apple still leads market

Microsoft launched AI-capable PCs earlier this year, and as per a report, shipments of Windows-based AI PCs grew 127% in Q2 2024. However, Apple is still the leader in this space with its entire Mac portfolio incorporating M-series chips with the Neural Engine. Apple captured 60% of market share, followed by Windows at 39% and 1% ChromeOS, Canalys said.
