This new AI model can detect diseases by scanning tongue photos

Researchers have developed an algorithm that has achieved a 98% accuracy in detecting different diseases by analysing the colour of the human tongue. This imaging system has been reportedly developed by Iraqi and Australian researchers and can diagnose diabetes, stroke, anaemia, asthma, liver and gallbladder conditions, COVID-19, as well as a range of other vascular and gastrointestinal issues.
