FM Nirmala Sitharaman: BSNL to launch 5G services “soon,” government provided “enough assistance”

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced on Tuesday that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will soon roll out 5G services, following substantial government support. The state-run telecom operator is poised to launch its 5G network within six to eight months after completing its pan-India 4G rollout, targeted for March 2025.
