Smartphone sales in India to cross 100 mn units in 2H24 driven by AI, 5G: Techarc

NEW DELHI: Smartphone sales in India in the second half (July to December 2024) are likely to cross 100 million units, driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and fifth-generation (5G)-enabled handsets, according to the latest report released by Techarc recently.

With this, the research firm has estimated the annual sale of smartphones in the country to be between 155-158 million units, representing a 7-9% year-on-year increase in volume.
