BGMI maker Krafton buys Japanese gaming studio that Microsoft shut down

Krafton, the South Korean gaming major and parent company of BGMI maker Krafton India, has acquired Tokyo-based game studio Tango Gameworks for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition includes absorbing Tango Gameworks’ developers and securing the rights to their acclaimed rhythm-action game, Hi-Fi Rush. Krafton also noted that it’s the company’s “first significant investment in the Japanese video game market.”
