Take-Two dispels GTA VI development delay rumours, but has bad news for Xbox users

Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, in its recent earnings call, confirmed to investors that “The Grand Theft Auto series exceeded our expectations, as momentum continues to build ahead of the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in Fall 2025,” squashing all the speculations regarding the possible delay in the development of the most anticipated video game in recent time.

The studio has already confirmed that GTA VI will be coming in Fall 2025 to the latest generation of gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft – PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S, respectively.
