US-based shoe manufacturer Nike has reportedly temporarily suspended online sales in Turkey following the imposition of new, steeper customs taxes on imported goods. The sportswear giant cited uncertainties in delivery times as the primary reason for the decision. “We cannot guarantee our consumers that their orders will arrive smoothly and on time, so we are suspending online orders from Turkey for the time being,” the US sneaker giant said in a statement published on its official Turkish website, according to a report in Bloomberg.
