E-commerce titan Colin Huang has claimed the top spot as China’s wealthiest individual, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index released Friday. The founder of Temu and Pinduoduo has seen his fortune soar thanks to the meteoric rise of his discount shopping platforms. With a net worth of $48.6 billion, Huang has surpassed beverage magnate Zhong Shanshan to become the 25th richest person globally.
