WhatsApp may soon replace green verification badges with a blue ticks

WhatsApp is reportedly planning to replace the green verification badge with a blue checkmark for verified channels and businesses. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned messaging platform has rolled out a new update through the TestFlight beta Program for iPhone users, bringing the version up to 24.16.10.72 and it’s available to some beta testers.
