Karnataka Bitcoin case: Accused cop Sridhar Pujar to appear before magistrate to comply with bail conditions
The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday directed accused police officer Sridhar Pujar to appear before the trial court to comply with his bail conditions. The order was passed by a bench consisting of Justice M G Uma.
Pujar, who is a DSP-ranked officer, and three other officers of the Central Crime Branch were booked in January for alleged illegal confinement, breach of trust, and destruction of evidence with regard to the handling of the arrest of hacker Srikrishna alias Sriki in the Bitcoin case. Pujar had approached the high court for anticipatory bail in this case.
