WhatsApp launches blue checks for verified Channels, businesses in latest iOS beta update
WhatsApp has introduced a significant update in its latest beta version, 24.16.10.72, by replacing the traditional green verification badge with a blue checkmark for verified channels and businesses.
According to WaBetaInfo, the chat company’s latest move aligns with the verification system of Meta’s other platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, which also use blue checkmarks for verified accounts. The update, which is currently available to select beta testers, replaces the old green verification badge with a blue checkmark.
