TRAI to Airtel, Jio and others: Take immediate actions to curb spam calls

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has urged telecom operators, both private and public, to come forward and take effective measures to curb bulk communications using voice calls. The telecom regulator convened a meeting with access service providers and telemarketers on unsolicited calls recently. The meeting was aimed to convey a strong message to take effective measures to curb bulk communications using voice calls.
