Google’s August security patch for Android fixes zero-day flaw exploited in targeted attacks

Google’s latest security update for Android devices addresses 46 vulnerabilities, including a critical remote code execution (RCE) flaw that was exploited in targeted attacks. The zero-day vulnerability was discovered and reported by a security researcher from Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), Clément Lecigne.
