Telecom Diary: Open RAN to offer huge potential to Indian startups

Open RAN (Radio Access Network) technology has the potential to offer significant opportunities for Indian startups to build an ecosystem that can be implemented not only here but also globally.

“Our industry will definitely come up as a global supplier for Open RAN technology. BSNL will also start trials for Open RAN by next month,” RK Upadhyay, CEO, Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) said while delivering a keynote address during ETTelecom’s Open RAN virtual summit.
