Flipkart’s fashion vertical head Arief Mohamad is set to exit the firm, with his role being taken over by Myntra chief executive Nandita Sinha, people in the know told ET.
Sinha, who led Myntra to earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) level profitability earlier this year, will take on an expanded role overlooking the fashion vertical of Myntra’s sister firm. Both Flipkart and Myntra are owned by US-based Walmart. The two entities, though led by Sinha, will remain separate, sources added.
