Intel has extended warranties on affected processors as a goodwill gesture. The company pinpointed the issue causing instability in its 13th and 14th generation Core processors to be an elevated operating voltage. The company is already developing a software patch to address the problem.
Intel said that it will extend the warranty on its boxed Intel Core 13th and 14th generation processors by two additional years.
