Karnataka GST notice withdrawn, will respond to DGGI: Infosys

A day after it disclosed having received Goods and Services Tax (GST) notices from state and central authorities, Infosys informed stock exchanges on Thursday that Karnataka state GST authority has withdrawn its notice. The company would now be required to respond to Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) on the matter.

“The Company has received a communication from Karnataka State authorities, withdrawing the pre-show cause notice and has directed the Company to submit further response to DGGI central authority on this matter,” the company said in a stock filing.
