How TikTok’s may have helped Microsoft boost AI business

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has highlighted the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in driving the company’s growth. During the recent earnings call, Nadella emphasised the strategic importance of AI, comparing its impact to the company’s previous cloud computing initiatives. A report has indicated that Microsoft’s partnership with OpenAI, which involves reselling AI technology to cloud customers, has been a significant contributor to the company’s revenue growth, with TikTok may have played a pivotal role in it.
A report by The Information claims that a core part of Microsoft’s plan to build a new multibillion-dollar profit machine is reselling OpenAI’s technology to its cloud customers – like TikTok which paid nearly $20 million per month to access those models.
