BCCI tells NCLAT it has settled dues with Byjus, proposal opposed by US-based creditor

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday informed the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) it has reached a settlement with Byju’s on the repayment of over Rs 158 crore due to it by the edtech company.

However, the settlement was opposed in court by the GLAS Trust Company LLC, one of Byju’s US-based creditors, which questioned the provenance of the funds that Byju’s would pay BCCI with.
