Jio, Qualcomm teaming up for affordable 5G, inclusive digital infra: Sunil Dutt

NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio is working together with the US-based mobile chipmaker Qualcomm Technologies to develop affordable fifth generation or 5G devices, and a robust digital infrastructure to offer high-speed internet and seamless connectivity in the country’s remote areas.

“The two organisations (Jio and Qualcomm) are again working to develop affordable 5G solutions that are going to bring benefits of high-speed internet, seamless connectivity and digital experiences to even the remotest parts of India,” Sunil Dutt, President – Devices at Reliance Jio said, adding that the collaboration between the two, has already achieved significant milestones in the past.
