Google introduces cross-device sharing in Android; Aims to match with Apple’s Handoff
Google plans to update its Android and introduce a ‘cross-sharing’ device feature . Reportedly, Google aims to bring in ‘call casting’ and ‘Instant hotspot’ features.
It is expected that the new feature is similar to one of Apple’s features named Handoff. Apple has introduced this feature for its iOS device users since 2014.
Google introduces ‘cross-device’ features
According to 9to5 Google, the Cross-device features will be available through an update. After the update you can see a cross-device option in the device settings. As of now the feature is available on Android devices running versions 24.28.34 on the Google Play services.
