Apple to axe Plus model, iPhone 16 Plus may be last of its kind: Report

Apple fans could see a major shift in iPhone lineup in the coming years. If the whispers are to be believed then Apple in a bold move is planning to drop Plus model from its iPhone series leaving the upcoming iPhone 16 Plus a final instalment in the Plus series.

Well-known Apple analysts have suggested that the tech giant is mulling over discontinuation of the larger standard iPhone model in exchange of a new, ultra-thin premium device seemingly named the iPhone 17 Slim. This could be Apple’s slimmest phone yet with several other key changes inside making it the most premium offering in the series.
