Vivo says localised smartphone components, invested Rs 3,500 crore in India operations

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Vivo Tuesday said it has localised various smartphone components since its inception in India. It has achieved 100% local assembly of motherboard, while battery (94%), chargers (97%), camera (77%), and fingerprint sensors (97%) are sourced locally, as per the data shared by the company for the period February 2023 to February 2024.
