UK probes Google parent’s partnership with this Amazon-backed AI company

oogle-parent company Alphabet is being subjected to scrutiny by the UK’s antitrust watchdog over its partnership with artificial intelligence startup Anthropic and its impact on competition. Britain’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has invited comments on the transaction from any interested party, in advance of the CMA’s formal investigation starting.
