Qualcomm announces 4s Gen 2 chipset, aims to bring 5G connectivity to entry-level smartphones in India

Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset at the first edition of Snapdragon for India showcase. The new chip is especially designed for India, says the company, and is poised to power sub-$100 (~ ₹8,000) 5G smartphones, promising to make 5G more accessible to all.
The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 is a toned down variant of the 4 Gen 2, which is often found in sub-₹15,000 smartphones.
