ONDC launches interoperable QR code: What it means for customers

The government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has launched an interoperable QR code system to empower small businesses. This QR code allows sellers to create a unique digital storefront accessible through various ONDC-compatible apps.
The initiative not only aims to level the playing field for small sellers by providing them with a wider reach compared to traditional e-commerce platforms but also to connect sellers, local artisans and neighbourhood shopkeepers with customers online and offline.
