Canva acquires this AI image generation startup that offers more user control

Canva has acquired Leonardo.ai, a generative AI content and research startup, as the company looks to broaden the scope of its AI tech stack. The financial terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed. Canva co-founder and chief product officer Cameron Adams has confirmed that the acquisition deal was a mix of cash and stock. He also noted that all of Leonardo.ai’s 120 employees, including the executive team will be joining Canva.
