SAR Televenture signs pact to deploy 4G small cell sites for Vodafone Idea

Mumbai: Network infrastructure provider SAR Televenture has signed a pact with Vodafone Idea (Vi) to deploy 5,000 new 4G small cell sites, with the rollouts expected to start in the January-March quarter of 2025, underlining the telco’s swift moves to beef up its services.

The deal is part of Vi’s larger network expansion plan, “for which they have started locking-in vendors”, SAR managing director Rahul Sahdev told ET. “We are aiming for a deeper partnership with Vi as there is no operational hitch after the company concluded fundraising recently.”
