Mobile phones, electronic components manufacturing reaches Rs 5.14 lakh crore under PLI scheme: MoS IT

Minister of State for Electronics and IT Jitin Prasada informed Parliament last week that production under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for large-scale electronics manufacturing reached Rs 5.14 lakh crore by June 2024. This production included mobile phones, electronic components and semiconductor packaging.
In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Prasada said that the PLI scheme for large-scale electronics manufacturing was notified on April 1, 2020.
