MapMyIndia takes Ola to court; says company ‘copied’ data for Ola Maps: Read what the legal notice claims

MapMyIndia parent company CE Info Systems has sued Ola Electric, alleging that the ride-hailing giant Ola has copied its data and reverse engineered the licensed product. It said that Ola cached and saved MapMyIndia’s data.
CE Info Systems in a legal document, which has been accessed by Forbes India, claims that Ola’s actions violate the terms of the 2021 agreement and have caused significant harm to its business.
