Google fixes Chrome bug affecting 15 million Windows users

Google has fixed an issue in the Chrome browser that prevented many Windows users from finding or saving their passwords. According to a Google Status page, the issue started on July 24 and continued for nearly 18 hours before being fixed on July 25. Almost 15 million Windows users were impacted by it.
Google took note of the issue on July 25. It said “We are experiencing an issue with Chrome Browser where impacted users may be unable to find or save passwords in Chrome’s Password Manager.
